Abstract

Modern interlinguistics investigates the historical development of the common language from the ancient to contemporary times. Searching for a rational economic language even Aristotel can be considered as a founder of economic artificial language. Later many linguists also tried to create new artificial languages, using special systems of signs (mathematical, musical etc. symbols), Volapiuk and Esperanto being the most successful. In the middle of the 20 th century a new project of international language appeared – interlingua, created by International Association of Subsidiary Language.
