Informativeness of Economics and Information Terminology

Elvyra Tadauskienė

Abstract

Informativeness of economics and information terminology is being discussed in the article. As there exist too types of the terminology (international and Lithuanian), when translating it is necessary to make them uniform. Recommendations are given when to use international words and when their Lithuanian equi-valents. When dealing with the problem a bigger contribution should be introduced to this by the language surveillance institutions and the authors of the dictionaries.
