Assessment and Recognition of Non-Formal and Informal Learning in University Studies
Abstract
The paper explores the problem of assessment and recognition of non-formal and informal learning in university studies: it presents results of the analysis into European and world universities’ experience in assessing and recognizing adults’ learning that occurs in different learning environments, general principles guiding the assessment and recognition of prior learning, models of assessment as well as results of a survey into adults’ needs of assessment and recognition of prior learning in Lithuania.
