Students Independent Work While Learning a Foreign Language at the Final Stage

Abstract


The paper considers the problem of independent work while learning a foreign language at the final stage. The following aims of independent work are emphasired in the article: teaching students to use a foreign language in their professional activity, developing students’ abilities and skills to improve their knowledge of a foreign language on their own. Analysing the problem of independent work, the conclusion has been drawn that appropriate methods mainly consisting of complex measures of teaching control should be developed. The structure of the above complex in discussed and the methodical principles of developing the abilities and skills of independent work are presented.
