ABOUT JOURNAL

The journal Coactivity: Philology, Educology is published by Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (VGTU) Press.

Coactivity: Philology, Educology publishes quality articles on the main aspects of the fields of philology and educology. The journal is published semi-annually online as an open access journal. The languages of articles are Lithuanian, English, German or Russian.

The key objectives of the journal are:to encourage research in such areas as linguistics, foreign language teaching, terminology and translation; to stimulate fast dissemination of information among specialists from the fields of philology and educology by providing them with an open platform for discussions, exchange of professional and cultural knowledge and experience;to support a cross-disciplinary scholarly dialogue between different academic communities;to broaden perspectives of specialists from the fields of philology and educology by introducing them with their foreign counterparts’ publications, which reflect international experiences and approaches.

JOURNAL HISTORY

In 1993–2006 thirteen issues of research proceedings of Vilnius Gediminas Technical University „Filologija“ (Philology) were published (1 issue per year). Since 2006 the publication has been reorganized into a research journal „Santalka“ (Coactivity) (1 volume of 4 issues per year) with proceeded volume numeration. Since 2011 „Santalka“ is be published under a title „Santalka: Filologija, Edukologija“(Coactivity: Philology, Educology) (1 volume of 2 issues per year). The journal will only be published online since 2013.
